Easter Photo Tip #1 – Take Pictures Before Easter

Sunday is Easter so this week we’re sharing some photography tips and ideas specifically for the spring holiday. Hope you enjoy.

Shopping for the Easter dress and bonnet. Coloring eggs. Preparing the Easter feast. All of these are great photo moments that lead up to the big day.

- When coloring the eggs, try to set up so that your kids will be facing the camera, with dyes and eggs in the foreground.

- Try to keep your subjects as far from a wall as possible. Otherwise, the flash will produce dark shadows behind them.

- Take close ups of small hands grabbing the prize at the egg hunt or dipping an egg into colorful dye.

What are your favorite Easter photo ideas? Please share in the comments.

And remember to transform your photos from good to wow by having snapshots professionally retouched at FixMyPhotos.com. Or transform your photos into personalized art by selecting any number of artists’ styles at PhotoTownship.com. (Both are sister sites to ThePhotoArtBlog.)
